The Problem
Lockwood cottage is a small creative design business. They started out doing market stalls in Yorkshire with hand illustrated cards and print and came to us looking for a new image. This needed to take the brand to a level where a new collection of handcrafted stationery and gifts focusing on the special moments in life, could be marketed both via shops and online.
The Solution
The story behind the name for the brand was the history of where the business had originally started. In a cottage, in an area called Lockwood. We incorporated this into the logo itself by creating a hand drawn logo mark of the actual cottage. To compliment this and create a professional look, we used a chunky sans-serif font. The fresh vibrant colours used reflects the types of products the business creates as these were fun designs with positive messages.
