We’ve been talking for a while about supporting small businesses in other ways and have developed the connection element in our brand through our gift guides and online sharing, but we've wanted to create a supportive community and have finally decided to go for it! But, for now we have decided to just start local. We are creating a small business group that will meet locally to us (Warrington) once a month. We already know we would love expand this idea and create something in the online space as well as doing big seasonly meet up’s. But for now we are just going to keep it local, whilst we find our feet, learn a bit more and when we are ready to roll it out online next year we know it'll be amazing.
So, what is Small Founders Club? It's a place for small business owners to feel supported, connected and empowered. Access to the club is through an annual membership which includes a members only online community, as well as being able to book onto our monthly local meet up's in Warrington town centre. The community is run through the app Discord and allows you to have a support network even if you can't make it to one of the events. As a non-member you are welcome to visit the group and can book your place on one of our meet up's before you would need to sign up to our annual membership which is just £35 per year. This gives people the chance to see what it's all about and if it's for them before making the commitment. The meet up's are currently held in the evening of the third Thursday of the month (subject to change) at Mamars at the old bank (78 Bridge St, Warrington WA1 2RF). Our first one is on Thursday 21st September at 6.30pm-8.30pm. The event will be available to book online through our website or Eventbrite and costs £16.50 which includes refreshments. The running order on the night will be a relaxed atmosphere with a loose structure as follows;
